Ghanaian defender Wilson Akakpo has signed a three-year extension at the Egyptian outfit Al Masry, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The new deal will keep the 23-year-old at the Port Said-based until 2018.
The former Berekum Chelsea defender has been rewarded for his impressive performance since joining the side last year.

Akakpo played two seasons for Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League from Ho Hot Steel FC before joining the North African side in 2014.
