Ghana will be more 'complicated' than South Africa - Algerian Yacine Brahimi
Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi admits Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations clash against Ghana will be more ‘complicated’.
The 24-year-old says the Black Stars will be a much difficult test as compared to the South Africans and must therefore up their game.
Algeria go into the encounter in buoyant mood following their 3-1 win over the Bafana Bafana and will hope to add the West Africans to the list of their recent victims.
The Desert Foxes are on the high after their impressive showing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and hoping to carry through their performance at the continental showpiece.
Brahimi, the reigning BBC African Footballer of the Year, admits their opponent will be difficult to crack.
“I think it will be much more complicated than our meeting against South Africa. For Ghana,” he said
“It'll be like a final case for us. Again, Ghana is a very good team that has already won several titles. They mostly make the semi-final berth and that makes them dangerous. We know what to expect. We’ll be well prepared for this meeting.”
