Ghana utility player Harrison Afful to join Black Stars camp immediately after Hearts clash

Ghana and Esperance utility player Harrison Afful will switch to join the national team camp immediately after the game against Hearts of Oak as preparations for the AFCON 2017 qualifier against Mauritius intensifies.
Afful, a defender who is more than capable of putting in a good shift in the midfield will quickly turn his attention to the national team after his side’s confederation cup second leg tie against Hearts on Saturday.
Esperance come into the game haven recorded a hefty 4-0 lead from the first leg and will advance to the Group stages of the Confederations cup if they avoid losing by 5 unanswered goals.
Afful who has ruled out a comeback for Hearts says he will join up with his national colleagues after the game on Saturday.
“There is no time to relax as I have to join up with my colleagues in the national team to prepare for the game against Mauritius,” Afful told GHANAsoccernet.com
“But now I have to ensure that the work is done with Esperance then the attention switches to the national team.”
The former Feyenoord Academy product was a member of Ghana’s team which finished second in the last edition of the AFCON competition held in Equatorial Guinea.
