Ghana striker Ransford Osei’s progress at South African Premier Soccer League side Polokwane City is being slowed by a groin injury.

Osei has managed only two appearances for Limpopo outfit- all as a substitute- since joining in January this year.

The 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup silver shoe winner has been in the good books of Polokwane City coach Kostadin Papic.

“He’s got a groin injury that has been troubling him,” a source at the club Soccer Laduma.

Osei, a former Asante Kotoko striker, is trying to whip his career back on track after going off the radar.
