Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris is on a four-man shortlist for FC Lorient’s September Player of the Month award.

He must beat competition from Jouffre Yann, Benjamin Jeannot and Cameroon’s Benjamin Moukandjo.

Waris scored two goals in four matches in the month under review.

The 24-year-old is playing in first season at the club after arriving in the summer from Turkish side Trabzonspor.
