Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi believes foreign-based returnees have wow the local league and praised them for the decision to return home.

The likes of Richard Kingson, Godwin Attram and Dan Quaye have impressed heavily since they signed for Great Olympics.

Indeed the Wonder Club has been revived since they re-signed for the club after several years abroad.

The trio were instrumental for the side as the grind out a pulsating 0-0 draw against Hearts of Oak in the big local derby on Sunday.

And the Ghana FA capo has hailed the influence of the returnees and reckons such moves will help project the quality of the game in the West African country.

"One of the reasons people don't watch the local games is that they say that they don't know much about the players", Nyantakyi is quoted as saying.

"They don't know their exploits, potentials and abilities, but if you have people who have played in Europe and they are well known coming back to play, it adds a lot of shine to the leagie.

He added: "It is not only in Ghana, but in Brazil and even in Argentina sometime. Sometimes you find a lot of top players going back to play and it gives a lot of attraction, so for me, the return of the three Attram,Kingston and Dan Quaye and the others is a very welcome home and I will encourage those having challenges in their clubs to consider coming back to Ghana",

"You may come back to re-launch their career and have successful stints abroad afterwards."

Ex-Ghana youth midfielder Bobby Prince has also been linked with a move to Great Olympics.
