Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila will sign a two year contract with Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 24 year old has spent the last five months in Kuwait on loan with Al Qadsia and appears to have been impressed with his new environment.

Sumaila helped Qadsia to a third place finish in the league and also played in the Asian Champions League and Confederation cup.

He has now confirmed he will sign a permanent deal with the Royals.

“My future has been decided I will be signing for Al Qadsia and Sundowns are aware,” Sumaila told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I have been here for some time and I am certain that this is the right deal for me at this point of my career.”

Sumaila was a member of the Black Stars squad which represented Ghana at the 2014 world cup in Brazil.
