Ghana defender Daniel Opare has been declared fit after suffering a suspected hamstring injury in Besiktas’ 2-0 win over Trabzonspor.

The 24-year-old was replaced just seven minutes into the second half of the match played in Trabzon on Sunday.

Opare’s substitution sparked fears he had suffered yet another injury setback.

The Ghanaian has been unlucky with injuries since his loan move to Besiktas from FC Porto in January.

But the right-back has been given the all clear after undergoing further tests on the suspected injury.

“Daniel Opare was substituted out of the game due to hamstring pains, he underwent scans at the Ac?badem Fulya hospital but was given the all clear after the MR scan,” Besiktas said in a statement.

This means Opare will be available for selection in Besiktas’ next league match against Gaziantepspor.
