Ghana and former Maritzburg united defender Awal Mohammed says he is not considering a return to the PSL after terminating his contract with Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab.

The 27 year old cut loose a stay in Riyadh with Al Shabab after a dispute in financial delivery of his contract.

Awal who enjoyed maximum success with Maritzburg in South Africa has been linked with a swift return to the rainbow nation.

But he says he is not interested a move to South Africa but rather keeping his choices close to his chest.

“My stay in Saudi has been unfortunate but that is it for me the most important thing at the moment is that I am fit and looking forward to the future with hope, the former Asante Kotoko man told Accra based Citi FM

“South Africa? I have been there but for me it’s not in my mind at the moment I am looking at what will be the best for me in a long term.”

Awal represent Maritzburg 57 times and scored 5 goals in his two year stay in the premier soccer league.
