La Liga side, Getafe are reportedly plotting a January move for Real Sociedad striker Umar Sadiq, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Sadiq, 25, has struggled to establish himself since joining Real Sociedad from Almeria in 2022, making just two league starts this season.

Getafe manager José Bordalás is said to be a keen admirer of the Nigerian international, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

With Getafe accumulating just eight points from nine matches, Bordalás is eager to bolster his attack.

Sadiq's record for Real Sociedad includes two goals and one assist in 26 La Liga appearances (12 starts, 14 substitute) last season.
