Getafe president, Ángel Torres, has now confirmed that Nigerian international midfielder Uche Chrisantus is on the verge of completing a transfer to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Torres admits he doesn't want his player to leave, bit the decision is driven by the harsh realities of Spanish football:
“We have to sell. We are ruining La Liga by continuously selling,” he said.
“I am forced to sell him, I have no other choice. Tomorrow he undergoes the medical and the deal will be signed with Wolves.”
Although, there are strong indications the player is yet to give the final green light.
