Ethiopian Premier League club Sidama Coffee has announced the signing of former Nigerian Professional Football League top scorer Godwin Obaje.

The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah attacker played for Abia Warrior in the 2021/2022 league season.
Obaje, 26, formerly played for Nigerian outfits Wikki Tourists, Plateau United, and Abia Warriors among other clubs.

He was the 2015-16 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) top goal scorer with 18 goals while playing for Wikki Tourists.
The Nigerian enjoyed a brief stint in Tunisia in 2019 with JS Kairouan.
