TRANSFERmarketWEB.com
Cristiano Ronaldo has done medical examinations and signed a two-year contract worth € 25 million per year with Manchester United.
A choice that surprised everyone, especially given the times in which the deal was finalized. At Juventus everyone got used to the idea of ??seeing him play again in the black and white shirt, but in just two days, Cristiano decided to move to England, for an effectively romantic return.
Why did Cristiano Ronaldo leave Juventus a few days before the ending of the transfer market? The answer, of course, is not easy to know, but the choice of CR7 cannot be a coincidence: Leo Messi's departure from Barcelona may influenced the Portuguese champion, who did not want to leave the "spotlight" to his lifelong rival.
The desire to change the league and return to England after three years not particularly lucky at Juventus, which ended with two championships, an Italian cup and an Italian Super Cup but also with many disappointments in the Champions League against Ajax, Lyon and Porto and a team impoverished by the technical point of view (especially in midfield). Ronaldo noticed this very well and decided to leave the project, before it was too late, with Massimiliano Allegri never clearly saying he was sorry about his departure.
There is not only the ball and the desire to increase his very long palmares behind the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United. The former Juventus striker is already "thinking about what will come after his career as a footballer" and seems to be attracted also by the incredible opportunities offered by the United Kingdom off the pitch. In fact, CR7 intends to open another luxury hotel (in Manchester) after those already started in Lisbon, Madeira, New York and on Gran Vía in Madrid, with inauguration scheduled for early 2023.
Cristiano Ronaldo himself is likely to explain this choice, perhaps when he will be officially presented by the Red Devils.
