Flying Eagles camp: 2 Arsenal invitees that may not likely make the final list
Arsenal young lads Ovie Ejeheri and Joel Ideho, May likely not feature on Ladan Bosso provisional list at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations, which begins in Egypt on February 19, 2023.
It was gathered that Arsenal permitted the players to train with the Flying Eagles for three days after which a decision will be taken on whether or not to include them on the provisional squad list.
The Premier League club is furious that Ideho and Ovie are not on the list for the Africa Cup of Nations, and has made it clear that training with the Flying Eagles was a waste of time.
Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso ran the rule over Ideho and Ovie Ejeheri at the team's training camp in Abuja this week with a view to their inclusion in the squad list for the tournament but the two talented teenagers did not make the grade.
The duo are expected to fly back to the United Kingdom by this weekend
Bosso has insisted that he will work with the players in camp and has ruled out handing fresh call-ups before the team's departure for Morocco, where they will hold another training camp ahead of the AFCON.
