Bendel Insurance forward, Junior Osaghae expressed his joy over his first brace for Bendel Insurance which he scored on Sunday as the Benin Gunners whitewashed Doma United 4-0 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

Osaghae who was a second half substitute scored Insurance's 3rd and 4th of the game as coach Monday's side continue their push for a continental slot.

Speaking exclusively to Nigeriasoccernet.com on his first Insurance's brace, Junior Osaghae said:

"I was happy and feels good to score.

"It wasn't a game we needed and am happy I contributed to the winning."

Osaghae who started his football career at BJ Foundation Benin City before moving to Bendel Insurance in 2018 said the national team is his main target and also play for clubs outside Nigeria.

"My target is to get a national team call up someday and get a good club outside the country and also help the young ones develop."

Osaghae after joining Bendel Insurance in 2018 helped them secure NPFL slot but left the club for Rivers United in 2019 after Insurance returned to NNL.

Osaghae who have scored five goals for Insurance this season will hope he increases it when they visit Ikenne on Sunday for an NPFL cracker at the Remo Stars stadium.
