Ahead of the U-17 World Cup in India, Flamingoes striker Etim Edidong has confirmed the team's readiness to face the rest of the world, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The lanky and bullish forward hits the twice on Saturday as Flamingos spank their host Galatasaray Ladies 3-1 in a warm-up game.

"From what I have seen so far, we played as a team and I believed we are ready for the World Cup," she said after the game.

"As we have been playing together as a team, I'm sure we going to go all out at the World Cup", Etim Edidong added.

Nigeria will face Germany in the first group match before playing Chile and New Zealand later in group B.
