FC Cincinnati extend Nwobodo's contract until 2025

Major League Soccer (MLS) club, FC Cincinnati have exercised the contract option on Nigeria midfielder Obinna Nwobodo, extending his stay with the club until 2025, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The announcement was made on the club's official website, with Nwobodo's contract extension being one of several options exercised by FC Cincinnati.

Nwobodo joined FC Cincinnati from Turkish club Goztepe in 2022 and has since made 80 appearances for the club, scoring twice.

The 25-year-old is the highest-earning Nigerian player in the MLS and will be looking to continue his impressive form for FC Cincinnati in the upcoming season.
