FC BARCELONA closing in on Depay on a free transfer

According to L'Equipe, FC Barcelona is close to finalizing a deal with Olympique Lyonnais' striker Memphis Depay on a free transfer.
Depay, 27, agreed to a contract with Barcelona last year but the club's financial problems prevented the payment of any transfer fee to Olympique Lyonnais. A year later, Depay can be signed as a free agent, the dutch striker is still keen on joining the catalan giants and the move can finally happen.
A few contractual details have yet to be ironed out between the two sides, but things are looking good for Barcelona and Depay might finally join legend Leo Messi and fellow dutchman Ronald Koeman, the club's manager.
Recently, a few rumors about AC Milan being interested in Depay surfaced, but the player's desire is still to wear azulgrana next season.
Depay made 35 appearances in Ligue 1 for Olympique Lyonnais this season, with 19 goals and 10 assists.
