Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has been handed a call-up for Ghana’s international friendly against Canada on October 13, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 25-year-old has received his invitation for the friendly encounter at the JFK stadium in Washington.

Wakaso, who is on-loan at Spanish side Las Palmas will fly out to the United States after his side’s Spanish La Liga home tie against Eibar on Saturday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The Ghana international has impressed heavily since the start of the season, excelling against Barcelona and Sevilla in the last two games.

He scored a brilliant free-kick for the Black Stars in their 1-0 win over Rwanda in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last month.
