EXCLUSIVE: Ghana midfielder Ediwn Gyimah set to join South African giants Orlando Pirates
Ghana midfielder Edwin Gyimah has agreed to join South African club Orlando Pirates, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Details of the 24-year-old’s move to the PSL giants are readily unknown.
Gyimah is however certain to join as a free agent having completed his short-term loan stint with Mpumalanga Black Aces.
The former Wa All Stars player is noted for his versatility as he is able to play in both midfield and in defence.
Orlando Pirates are expected to announce the signing of the Ghanaian in days to come.
Gyimah is currently away on international duty with the Black Stars as they prepare to face Mauritius in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers on June 14.
He will be the second Ghanaian in recent times to join the Buccaneers - following in the footsteps of Fatau Dauda who endured a turbulent spell at the club.
Gyimah however has the added advantage of having prior experience in the PSL having featured prominently for SuperSport United.
