The Ghana international Daniel Opare has passed a medical at Besiktas and set to join the Turkish Super Lig side, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report. 

According to LigTV, the 24-year-old underwent the tests in Istanbul on Wednesday.

Opare is set to sign a six-month loan deal from Porto keeping him at the club until the end of the season.

He still has three-years left on his contract with the Portuguese giants.

The former Real Madrid youth team player should be the answer to their right-back problems due to injuries.

Midfielders Necip Uysal and Atiba Hutchinson had to play in make shift right-backs.

Opare joined Porto on a free transfer from Standard Liege this summer but has only made two appearances for the club’s reserve side this season.
