Ex-Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguaveon edges closer to becoming Stade Malien boss
Former Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguaveon is a few details away from becoming the coach of Malian club Stade Malien.
Eguaveon and the officials of the club held fruitful talks over becoming the new handler of the team and reports revealed the former Nigerian international has agreed to take up the challenge.
Former Nigeria ??coach Augustine Eguavoen (55) expected to arrive in Mali on Tuesday to take over the head coach role of giants Stade Malien de Bamako.
The former defender has been out of work for sometimes after ending his spell with Nigeria professional football league side Sunshine Stars back in 2017.
He also handed Enyimba International of Aba, Bendel Insurance and Gombe United, South Africa’s Black Leopards, Malta’s Sliema Wanderers.
Eguavoen handled the Super Eagles in 2007 and also coached Bendel Insurance, Sharks FC, Nigeria U17 and U23.
