Former Hearts of Oak star Mohammed Polo has expressed interest in coaching arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko if he is given the opportunity, claiming he will prove to the world that he is one of the finest coaches in Ghana.

In an interview with a local radio station in Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region, Agyenkwa fm sports host (Sir Emmanuel Kofi Nti) Mohammed Polo, popularly known as the "Dribbling Magician" expressed his preparedness to lead the Porcupine Warriors to major successes.

The Kumasi-based club asked their Coach Didi Dramani to proceed on four months' accumulated leave a fortnight ago after their abysmal performance in the this year’s premier league and are looking for a master tactician who will more laurels for their teeming fans in Oseikrom.

Mohammed Polo, who was the Technical head of Great Olympics in January 2004 told the Sir Kofi Nti that he ready to transform Kotoko to a formidable force which will acceptable by all adding that he is poised in bringing modern football to the admiration of Manhyia soccer fans.

The former Ghanaian international and arguably the most technically gifted player ever to emerge from the country and was in the Ghana squad that won the 1978 African Cup of Nations held in Ghana.

He was a left winger and played for Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League.
