EPL: ‘Osimhen is made for Prem’ Calvin Bassey
Fulham defender Calvin Bassey asserts that his compatriot, Victor Osimhen, is well-equipped for the Premier League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Despite ongoing speculation linking Osimhen to top clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal, the Nigerian striker recently extended his contract with Napoli.
The new deal, featuring a release clause ranging from €130m to €140m, is unlikely to dissuade the interest of prominent Premier League clubs.
Bassey stated that Osimhen is meant the Premier League.
“He is a joke — the only striker I know who can run a back line by himself,” Bassey said to The Athletic.
“He can run in behind, he can head, finish,he can do everything.
“The Prem would suit him. Hopefully, he comes at some point but I’d rather have him in my team than against him!”
