Emmanuel Frimpong reminds Arsenal fans he’s still usefull at football with powerful run and assist
Emmanuel Frimpong was back on social media this week, only this time the former Arsenal man wasn’t mocking the lack of Premier League titles won by Steven Gerrard – but instead gloating about arguably the highlight of his career.
Now playing his trade for FC Ufa of the Russian Premier League, Frimpong posted a short video of a driving 60-yard run which helped set up a goal for his side.
Reminding fans of his abilities, the 22-year-old Ghanaian can be seen winning a loose ball and skipping past a challenge before accelerating up field and laying on a team-mate, who finishes well.
Frimpong was predicted to enjoy great things in the game having rolled off the conveyor belt of talent at the hugely-successful Gunners academy, only to make six appearances for the club before various loan moves and a switch to Barnsley earlier this year, leaving the Tykes following their relegation from the Championship.
Frimpong has so far made nine appearances for Ufa, who sit 13th in the standings.
