Emmanuel Dennis endured a torrid afternoon at the Canaries Ewood Park on Saturday against Norwich, a game filled with drama as 10-man Rovers battled for a point on the road, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian forward was sent off by match official Leigh Doughty after he was shown a controversial second yellow card when stretching to attempt to get on the end of a teasing Ribeiro ball in and catching ex-Rover player in Ben Chrisene with six minutes remaining.

Head coach Valerien Ismael praised the team's bravery even despite the red card, admitting that the team played a good game despite the controversial ruling.

Dennis would have to serve a two game ban unless appealed as Rovers will be travelling to the East Midlands to tackle John Eustace’s Derby County at Pride Park.
