Ecuadorian midfielder set to leave Club America this transfer window

According to sources close to Club America, the Mexican giants have decided to part ways with Ecuadorian midfielder Renato Ibarra, says a new report by ESPN Mexico.
Ibarra, who spent the last 18 months on loan at Atlas, will return to Coapa after the Guadalajara club decided to not exercise the right to buy the player. America's top brass however, have no plans to use Ibarra as long as Santiago Solari is their manager, according to these same sources. The azulcrema are already hard at work trying to find a new team for the midfielder, either on a new loan or a permanent deal. America have the player under contract until 2023; the Aguilas do not plan on acquiring new foreign players, after LigaMX rule changes lowered the number of allowed foreigners to 10 for the upcoming tournament, and Ibarra is definitely one of the casualties.
