Former Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik silenced the Cremonese fans with a late minute free-kick in the 91st minute to help Juventus record a fourth straight 1-0 league win on the road.

The victory put the Old ladies in title race after Inter Milan’s victory over league leaders, Napoli, opening up the chase.

Cremonese will have to wait until next game for their first ever victory since 1996 in the Serie A, following their 7 draws and their 9th defeats.

La Crema started with both Nigeria internationals, Cyril Dessers and David Okereke, with the later causing the Juventus backline a whole lost of problems with his pace in the first half.

While Okereke was substituted on the hour mark, Dessers who was on the pitch for the whole of the game, had a good game, although, the Super Eagles striker had his goal disallowed.

“As far as we have seen on the pitch, the result should have been different: the team would have deserved a much different ending for what was put into the game, for the performance that was made,” Cremonese Coach Massimiliano Alvini said after the game.
