Denmark Thrash Nigeria In Eight Goal Thriller At Suwon Invitational Tourney
Nigeria U-23s currently campaigning at the Suwon Invitational tournament were taking to the cleaners by a ruthless Danish side losing 2-6 to make it two losses from their first two games at the tournament after losing 0-1 to host South Korea in the first game.

Emil Larsen scored twice in four minutes to give the Danes a 3-0 lead going into the half time break despite Siasia making two substitutions in an attempt to curtail the rampant Danes.
Larsen got his hattrick in the 54th minute to take the scores to 4-0 just three minutes after Awoniyi missed another sitter for Nigeria.
Two minutes after the hour mark Patrick Da Silva piled further misery on the Nigerians scoring to bring scores to 5-0 in favour of the Danes leaving the Nigerians rattled.
The woes of the Nigerians was finally compounded with 15 minutes left to play when Emiliano Marcondes slotted home the sixth goal for Denmark.
Abdulrahman Taiwo scored twice in the last five minutes of the game reducing the deficit to 6-2 in what was a woeful display by the Nigerian team who are set to campaign at the Olympic games in Rio.
