According to information from Novasports.gr, PAOK is talking to a striker who has been the top scorer in a European tournament. The team is moving dynamically in the transfer market to strengthen its offensive line. It has been known for several days that the list of transfer candidates includes the Nigerian international.

With Dessers looking to take his career to the next level, PAOK is an option for him. Discussions with the player are at an advanced level and the player's side appears satisfied with the financial offer that has been submitted. Razvan Lucescu wants to have next season's team's main striker at his disposal in preparation. We must not forget that the "Two-Headed of the North" will try through the qualifiers to become the first Greek team to take part in the new format of the Champions League.

The 29-year-old is capped six times with the Nigerian national team. This season, he played in 54 games with Rangers, scoring 22 times, while also providing nine assists. He has experience from European competitions, as in the 2021/22 season he was the top scorer in the UEFA Conference League with 10 goals in 13 games for Feyenoord . Last summer in four games in the Champions League qualifiers he scored once against Servette and provided two assists in Rangers ' 2-2 draw with Eindhoven.
