The locally assembled Black Stars fell to another embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Zambia in the ongoing COSAFA cup competition.

Ghana were undone by two quick goals from Bornwell Mwape and Aaron Katebe on the 24 minute and the 29th minute respectively.

The Zambians deserved the 2-0 lead after throwing all they had got at the shaky Ghanaian defense.

Local hero Nathan Sinkala took advantage of another set piece deficit on the part of the Ghanaians to bang home a third on the 42nd minute and wrap up a one sided first half.

The Stars did begin the second half strongly and Ghana striker Nathaniel Asamoah could have reduced the deficit but veteran Zambian goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene was big to the situation.

Another Chance on the 60 minute fell to Asante Kotoko midfielder Micheal Akufo  but the often dependable midfielder blew his chance wide and high.

Zambia ceased the initiative to create some chances of their own with Alan Mukaka failing to convert a chance that was easier to score rather than to miss on the 85th minute.

Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu tried to add some fire power up front with the introduction of Zakari Muni late on but the substation had little effect on the game as the Zambians closed out a historic win over their Ghanaian nemesis and most importantly move to the final of the plate competition.

If we are to improve southern African region, we need to keep inviting Ghana, maybe Egypt, Ivory Coast and Nigeria.

There is nothing to be proud of as Zambians. That game was never important that why may be our freinds from Ghana were reluctant to break their legs. Honour Janza must go still more. He failed at AFCON and COSAFA so let him go. We respect Ghana but i think they need to seriously work on their defense. Zambia seriously need a new coach.
