Bournemouth defensive stalwart Steve Cook is desperate to see the Cherries keep hold of their star players this summer and build on their progress to date.
The 28-year-old, who moved to Dean Court in October 2011 from Brighton, has seen the likes of Callum Wilson, Ryan Fraser and David Brooks linked with potential summer moves, but he is hopeful that nothing will materialise on those fronts.
He told the Daily Echo: "Obviously we want to keep building, we want to keep our best players.
"It is credit to players who have been linked with big clubs, because they had good seasons.
"But, hopefully, the club will carry on progressing, growing, keeping our best players and now we want to improve as a team rather than individuals."
Eddie Howe's side finished in 14th place in the Premier League in the season just ended, having secured 12th and ninth places respectively in the previous two seasons.
Their form dropped off late on in the season, with the South Coast outfit only winning three of their last 14 league games to miss out on any chance of finishing in the top half of the table.
The Cherries are 7/2 to secure a top-half position at the end of next season, while they are 7/2 to be relegated.
