Confirmed – Rohr Invites Deportivo La Coruna Goalkeeper Uzoho For Algeria, Argentina Tie

Spanish La-Liga side Deportivo La Coruna have confirmed the invitation of 18 year old Nigerian goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho by coach of the Nigeria national team Gernot Rohr.

As reported by this portal seven days ago, the former U-17 goalkeeper ?is in the team as cover following concerns over the form and fitness of first choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Uzoho has kept in two La-Liga games for Deportivo La Coruna, but interim coach of the team has relegated him to the role of third choice goalkeeper and only yesterday he was in action for the B team in the third tier of Spanish football.

He is not in the squad of players called up by the coach for Deportivo La Coruna La-Liga game later today, but the invitation to the Super Eagles will no doubt douse the frustration of losing his first team spot.
