Through their official website, Danish Superliga club Randers have announced the signing of exciting Nigerian winger Mustapha Isah Ubandoma from HB Academy Abuja.
The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with Randers following a successful trial.
Isah has been described by Randers sporting director Søren Pedersen as a winger who is technically skilled, has speed, good depth runs and good turns.
The plan is for Isah to train with both the Randers' Superliga team and the U19 League Team.
Randers chief scout Mads Agesen discovered Isah during a scouting trip to Nigeria in the spring and describes the promising teenager as an incredibly exciting winger who is quick on his feet, has speed and is is adept at combining with his teammates.
In his first words as a Randers player, Isah said : "It feels so good and I am really happy to sign with Randers FC. It is a good club and a good place for me to continue my development.
"I greatly appreciate the way the players and everyone at the club have welcomed me. I have felt like part of the team, even though I have only been training here.
"I strive to become a player in Randers FC who can contribute with assists and goals. I want to help the club achieve good results".
Meanwhile, three Nigerian players Tosin Kehinde, Stephen Odey and Marvin Egho have been named in the Randers squad for their first home game of the new season against OB on Sunday afternoon, kickoff 1300 hours.
