Chiamaka Nnadozie clinches WSL Save of the Month Award for November
Nigeria international and Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) Save of the Month winner for November, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
She earned the honour for her outstanding reflex stop in the league fixture against Liverpool Women.
Nnadozie claimed the award for a remarkable fingertip save that denied Japanese midfielder Fuka Nagano’s long-range effort, diverting the ball onto the crossbar.
The stop proved decisive in securing Brighton’s 1–1 draw and further cemented her growing status as one of the league’s standout performers.
The honour crowns a remarkable run of achievements for the 24-year-old in 2025. Earlier this year, she was named CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, winning the prestigious continental award for the third consecutive time.
She also played a pivotal role in the Super Falcons’ triumphant campaign at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), keeping multiple clean sheets and earning the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper award as Nigeria lifted a record-extending 10th title.
Since joining Brighton from Paris FC in the summer, Nnadozie has quickly become a cornerstone of the Seagulls’ squad, delivering consistent performances that have drawn widespread acclaim across the league.
For the November award, she emerged ahead of strong competition from fellow nominees such as Sabrina D’Angelo (Aston Villa), Faye Kirby (Liverpool Women), and Ayaka Yamashita (Manchester City Women).
