Chelsea new signing Abdul Baba Rahman has revealed his admiration for Real Madrid ace Marcelo Viera.

The 22-year-old says he’s a key admirer of the impressive Brazilian left-back and hopes to follow in his footsteps.

Rahman sealed a dream five-year deal to the English champions after just a season at German outfit Augsburg where he impressed heavily.

The Ghana international says he draws inspiration from the Real Madrid man.

“When I was growing up it wasn’t just left-backs I watched, I liked to keep an eye on all of the top players, but since becoming a left-back I like to watch Marcelo.”

“But I enjoy watching the best players in action, it doesn’t matter what position they play in.”
