In an all important match for next season's Champions League qualification, Chelsea beat Leicester 2-1 to climb back into third on the table, leapfrogging the foxes in the process.
In a match where the Blues certainly looked the better side, having the lion's share of possession and attempts on target, it was Antonio Rudiger who put them ahead in the 47th minute with a strike from close range. The former Roma defender scored for just the sixth time for Chelsea, none bigger than this one. Jorginho's penalty in the 66th minute doubled Chelsea's lead, leaving Leicestrer desperate to find an opening to get back into the match. That opening arrived 10 minutes later, when Iheanacho scored fo the foxes. However, it was not to be for Leicester, as they were unable to find an equalizer in the last quarter of an hour and Chelsea secure the win that sees them go back to third in the table with one match to go, ensuring that a win in their last match will mean Champions League for this year's finalists.
