Victorious Rivers United have on Tuesday arrived in Nigeria and landed at the Murtala International Airport Lagos, Nigeria soccernet gathered

The Pride of Rivers on Sunday proved the bookmakers wrong by beating DC Motema Pembe 0-1 away win in Luanda, Angola.

Ghanaian midfielder, Paul Acquah, netted the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute and took the Nigeria champions to the top of the table.
