Remo Stars of Nigeria played a one all draw in their first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round against ASFAR at Rabat, Morocco on Sunday.

The team from Nigeria put up a great performance to get a vital point that could prove vital in the second leg.

Remo had been behind after the host scored in the twenty-seventh minute despite pressure from the away side that resulted in a goal line clearance.

The Sky Blue Stars kept pushing to equal score and almost did in the 37th minute when Ogunrinde header hit the crossbar.

Aniekeme Okon also came close to balance things, but his header didn't hit target.

The host also tried adding to their lead, but goalkeeper Bankole Kayode cane to the rescue.

Remo came into the second stronger scoring ten minutes into the half with Adams Olamilekan scoring Remo's first goal in the CAF Confederation Cup.

After the goal, Remo tried to contain the hoke team and did that well to end the tie the way it was in the first half.

The return leg of the fixture holds on Sunday Nigeria.
