For a short time it seemed as if Samu Castillejo would switch to Hertha BSC in the final spurt, but a deal is apparently off the table. As reported by 'Sky Italia', the 26-year-old Spaniard will not join the Berliners.

According to the report, Hertha could not come to an agreement with AC Milan. The 'Bild' recently reported that Castillejo would join the Berliner on loan. The left foot is tied to Milan until 2023.

Castillejo made 28 appearances for AC Milan in the Serie A scoring one goal and starting 12 games.
