As reported by Sport Bild, Max Eberl, head of football for Borussia Monchengladbach, asked about Inter Milan pursuing 24-year old French international winger and forward Marcus Thuram, stated: “We definitely wouldn't be happy to be led to give Marcus away. Here in 'Gladbach he is exactly the right person to make our team grow, and our main gateway to score even more goals. But I'm not ruling anything out. I am in very good terms with his advisor, Mino Raiola".
While the nominal 45 million euros transfer-fee demand upon the legacy kid stands still, Thuram's major suitors, at the time, seem to be Neroazzurri indeed, with many more Italian, English and Spanish clubs pondering over trying to meddle in.
