Brazil holds first training session ahead of clash with Eagles

Five time world champion Brazil held their first training session on Monday, ahead of their meetings with three time African Champions Nigeria and neighbors Senegal.

The 2019 Copa America winners were spotted Monday afternoon at the Singapore National Stadium, Kallang, doing light works with balls , with all their stars present.

The Samba boys will first take on the 2019 AFCON finalist Teranga Lions on Thursday, October 10 before renewing their rivalry with the Super Eagles three days later.

Paris Saint Saint-Germain star, Neymar Jr, Roberto Firmino, Phillipe Coutinho and Dani Alves were among the players that took part in the session.

Neymar, who has returned to form is returning to the squad after missing his Country’s triumph in the Copa America due to injury.

Liverpool duo of Firmino and Fabinho, arrived camp Monday morning, while Real Madrid duo of Eder Militao and Carlos Casemiro and Alex Iwobi’s Everton teammate Richarlison also joined .

PSG duo of Thiago Silva and Marquinhos also trained with the rest of the squad.

 

Brazil defeated Nigeria 3-0 in their last meeting and Sunday’s match is another avenue for the Nigerians to get their pounds of flesh.

The match will kick off at 1pm Nigerian time on Sunday, October 13.
