Bravo: Onuachu wins Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Month Award
Nigerian forward, Paul Onuachu, has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to Turkish football, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Onuachu won the Turkish Super Lig Goal of the Month award for September, following his impressive scissor kick in Trabzonspor's 4-2 victory over Fatih Karagümrük was voted the best goal of the month.
This achievement marks Onuachu's second consecutive win, following his award-winning strike against Samsunspor in August.
The 31-year-old striker has been in exceptional form since joining Trabzonspor from Southampton this summer, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 10 league appearances.
Onuachu currently tops the Turkish Super Lig scoring chart, ahead of notable players such as Rafa Silva, Felipe Augusto, and Mauro Icardi.
His impressive performance has sent a strong message to the Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, ahead of the World Cup playoffs in November.
