Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers, has confirmed that Super Eagles Midfielder has sustained another injury yet again.

The Nigeria international only saw 45 minutes in the English Premier League on Monday as he was substituted at half-time during Leicester City’s 4-0 drubbing of Nottingham Forest at the King Power Stadium.

Rodgers revealed that Ndidi sustained a hamstring injury during the game and will be unavailable for selection for a while.

“Wilfred Ndidi will probably be out for a little bit,” Rodgers told a press conference on Thursday.

“He came back from international duty with a hamstring strain. He recovered well but he felt it at half-time in the game and he was a little sore, so he might miss a few weeks.”

Ndidi has struggled with re-occurring injuries in recent times having also missed the latter part of last season with a knee problem.

The Nigerian also had to leave camp early due to injury during the International duty for the Super Eagles.
