Besiktas confirm Wilfred Ndidi acquisition

Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has joined Turkish side, Besiktas, from Leicester City as announced by the club on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The club revealed that the player joined for a fee of eight million euros.

“An agreement has been reached between the club and himself regarding the transfer of Professional Footballer Wilfred Onyinye Ndidi. Leicester City Football Club Limited will be paid 8,000,000 Euros in total transfer fee. ”

Multiple reports suggest the former Genk man penned down a deal that will see him stay till 2028 with an option for another year after completing medicals.

Ndidi had been eyed by Manchester United, Everton, and Bayer Leverkusen, according to reports, but opted for Besiktas after he told the Foxes he didn't want to play in the championship.
