Bechem United President Kinglsey Owusu Achau says the club’s vision is shifting to youth development despite their participation in the Ghana Premier League.

The club have appointed Swedish coach Erol Bekir to supervise this policy.

Bekir, 41, holds a UEFA Pro-license certificate, will concentrate on youth development.

“We have decided to emphasize on youth development since it is the future of our club and Ghana football. We want to unearth the next Abedi Peles, Tony Yeboahs, Asamoah Gyans and the likes", he told the GNA Sports.

"We know there are many 16 to 19 year old footballers in the country who do not have the opportunity to develop their talent. We will go around the country, pick these amazing talents and hand them over to our new youth development coach to groom them into future superstars."
