The final draw for the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, Egypt 2024 is set to take place in Cairo on Thursday, September 19th, 2024, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

While Nigeria will be watching from the sidelines after an unfortunate qualifying run, eight top African teams will vie for the coveted championship title.

The tournament itself kicks off on October 19th and runs through October 26th in the stunning coastal city of Hurghada, Egypt. Renowned for its picturesque beaches, Hurghada promises an unforgettable experience for fans and players alike.

This marks Egypt's second time hosting the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, following the successful 2018 edition held in Sharm El Sheikh.

All eyes will be on reigning champions Senegal as they aim to secure their fifth championship title. However, they'll face fierce competition from a hungry pack, including hosts Egypt, powerhouse Ghana, surprise qualifiers Mauritania who edged Supersand Eagles of Nigeria and Tanzania, and the ever-improving Morocco alongside Malawi.

This highly anticipated tournament serves as a vital qualifier for the upcoming FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025, hosted by Seychelles.
