SSC Lazio coach, Marco Baroni has the demanded of Nigerian midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru mproved skill sets, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Fisayo in his league debut on Sunday evening, played the entire 90 minutes against Venezia, helping the club secure a 3-1 victory over the newly promoted club.

Despite the Serie A win at the Stadio Olimpico, Baroni revealed some areas he will want to see the former Hatalyaspor player  improve.

“Dele-Bashiru has great potential. He is a lad who must understand our football and to do so he must train and play,” Baroni was quoted by Lazionews24.

“We will give him the opportunity to do so. We also have other good midfielders who are improving. The attitude was important.”

“He has to improve his posture, he is often closed by the opposition who doesn’t give him the chance to drive forward,” he added.

“But when he opens his shoulder, he is devastating. He has to become a ball-winner, but it’s not easy. It’s a complete upheaval, but he made an extraordinary contribution.”

Dele-Bashiru moved to the Italian capital from Hatayspor in the summer in a deal worth €8M.
