Barcelona have direct route to Cesc Fabregas under Como contract - AS

Barcelona could bring Cesc Fabregas back to the club in the future, according to reports.

AS says the Spanish coach’s contract with Como contains special terms covering an early departure. Should Arsenal, Chelsea or Barcelona want to appoint Fabregas as their head coach, they would be able to do so by paying a fixed fee agreed in advance.

The clubs would not need to negotiate a separate compensation agreement with the Italian side.

Fabregas has previously been reported as a leading candidate to take charge of Barcelona if Hansi-Dieter Flick leaves his role as head coach.
