BALDE: “I WANT GOALS AND SUCCESS FOR SAMP"
“I’m here to give my all for Sampdoria and rediscover the consistency that I’ve been missing over the last few years,” stated Keita Balde during an interview with the club in which he clearly stated his goals and desire to get his new adventure with the Blucerchiati under way. “The virus has slowed things down to some extent, but I’m now fit and pleased to be working with my team-mates. I can’t wait for my debut.
“I already knew Genoa and the club because my brother enjoyed some fantastic years here in the Primavera side,” added the former Monaco forward. “I’ve always liked Samp as a club and didn’t think twice when I had the chance to come here. I was then told there’s a large Senegalese community in the city which I’m very pleased about. I hope to make the fans happy with my performances and thank them for all their support on social media by scoring goals and winning plenty of games.”
